Making Origami Cranes by juliano


*1. Fold the paper in half.
*2. Fold it again into half
*3. Unfold it.
*4. Fold it into a diamond.
*5. Unfold it and make it into a diamond.
*6. put the side down and.
*7. push the top down.
*8. Fold the 1 side into a kite shape.But don’t fold the floppy bits
*9. Do the same thing.
*10. Flip it and do the same.
*11. 1 more to put it in a kite.
*12. Fold the top down.
*13. Unfold the paper.
*14. Put 1 of the floppy bits and press it until it looks like a kite shape.
*15. Do the same thing.
*16. Make sure it covers the white bits.
*17. Then it looks like this.
*18. Fold 1 side.
*19. Do the same thing.
*20. Flip it and do it again.
*21. Do the same thing 1 more time.
*22. Unfold it.
*23. Tuke one side in the side.
*24. Do the same at the other end.
*25. Make sure its tiddy.
*26. Pull the 2 big wing.
*27. Make it wide big.
*28. Tuke the head in .
*29. There you go a origami.

1. What did the baby flying fox look like?
a little bright eye that peered with furry ball

2. Why didn’t the flying fox have anywhere to stay?
because  the rainforest was down by the cyclone

3. What is an orphan?
a family got deid

4. How did the flying fox behave?
going beside the stove

5. Who named the flying fox and how did he get his name?
five year old brother

6. Where did Orfie live in the house?
kitchen

7. What food did Orfie eat?
guava,breadfruit, mango.

8. Why was the little brother heartbroken?
flying fox went out of the house


9.Why wasn’t the flying fox not an orphan anymore?
looking for a home

Reflecting on my Origami Crane

1. Are you pleased with your origami crane? why?
Yes, because I worked hard on it and it turned out the way I expected.

2. What part did you find easy? why / why not?
Folding the paper in half was easy because it was a simple step.

3. What part did you find tricky / difficult? Why / why not?
Folding it into a diamond because it was tricky getting the corners perfectly together.

4. Who / What helped you in making your Origami Crane?
Miss Paton’s instructions helped me make my crane.

5.  What would you do differently next time? Think about folding, listening, persistence (not giving up) etc.
I will fold my diamonds more carefully and ask for help when instructions get a bit too tricky.
