Swimming pool for room 7

Swimming pool was just starting for term 3 2013 and it was really warm. It the best.Every time we don't waste time,we can play a game.

Howick Historical Villige

On Thursday we went to the Howick Historical Village, Room 7's first activity was playing with olden day toys. The toys inside were really fun because you can't find these toys in the shops today. It was fun and the best toy was the little people climbing up the rope.The part I thought was scary for me was when we went to school and did things the way the kids were taught back in the olden days.

Duffy show by juliano

On Tuesday I had an awesome day because we were lucky enough to have a Duffy show  This Duffy show was called Duffy loses his words. It was really funny we all enjoyed it is about Duffy losing his words in his sleep. He dreams about a person called Professor Word Sharks needs his words back so Duffy can still read to his little brother Scruffy and Scruffy don't have to be sad . Then Duffy got a message from the Duffy show but since he couldn't read his friend Afi read it for him. The message said the Professor Word Sharks was challenging him to a word game. In the end Duffy got his words back and Scruffy was so happy,and the Word Sharks was not seen again .

I learnt that A lagoon is a shallow body of water separated from a larger body of water by barrier islands or reefs.

I learnt that the South Island are far away from Auckland, they are on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand.
