T2 goals - Juliano

Term 1 Highlights - Juliano

I learned that term one was a creative term. What I enjoyed about term one is that when Patrick, Samantha, Fine ,I and with other leaders to greet the 2 amazing waka's to New Zealand that has been all the way from Hawaii. I enjoyed this event because I get to preform to every school that is presented by Manaiakalani.

I learned about how to speak maori and make a DLO to share our leaning to London. The hardest thing I done in Term 1 was finishing my first drawing in my new classroom because I always never finish quickly I was always the last to finish. The subject that I enjoyed this term was maths. I keeps me improving my skills.The goal I want to achieve next term is to improve both of my writing and reading.

This is chart to show how many student was born in New Zealand or overseas, Only 10 people responded to my survey. 7 students was in New Zealand,1 student was born in America, 1 student was tonga and 1 student was born in. Mrs paton cam to our class room and had to complete our work for our Identity Servey.

Waitangi Day

This is my Waitangi Day poster. I learned into new thing about the Treaty of Waitangi. I've learned into That William was the first to sign the Treaty of Waitangi.

This is my comment to my sister (chloe) and I was proud of her and I never knew my sister would win the yr 8 player of the day. I am so proud cause she was straggling and now she's at th top.

The Water Cycle by Juliano

This is my Google drawing of my understanding of the water cycle. I learnt that the sun heats up the water and on the land and three different processes affect its change, precipitation, evaporation and condensation. I think the water cycle is a simple progress.

Howick Historical Villige

On Thursday we went to the Howick Historical Village, Room 7's first activity was playing with olden day toys. The toys inside were really fun because you can't find these toys in the shops today. It was fun and the best toy was the little people climbing up the rope.The part I thought was scary for me was when we went to school and did things the way the kids were taught back in the olden days.

Types of landforms

I learnt that A lagoon is a shallow body of water separated from a larger body of water by barrier islands or reefs. 

Punakaiki Rocks

I learnt that the South Island are far away from Auckland, they are on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand.

The Treaty of Waitangi By Juliano and Wiremu and Halatoa

I learnt that 240 people signed the Treaty of Waitangi. I also learnt that James Busby was the first one who signed the Treaty.
