Thank you letter

To Mr Millward and Bunning Takanini, I want to say a huge thank you to you for building and constructing the ramps for us year 7 & 8’s. It has helped us a lot on our ramp experiment. The ramps teached us how it’s produced and goes faster by putting in a marble on the ramp.  

By our ramp creations with the cardboard, most of us couldn't keep a great stamina and most of us couldn't put something to make the ramp stand so the ramp will lean either a chair or something with great stands. So you Mr Milward and Bunning Takanini has helped us with better Idea and put in momentum. It helped us to know what type of height and length we need to adjust to our ramp before we take a go on rolling it.

Me and my friend Gozan was added to another group that had little amount of people so Mrs put us together and we worked on our ramp. We tested all 3 ramps. Our ramp, the high ramp and the low steady ramp. We tested our one first and it showed that it went 7.98 metres long, when we test the high ramp. It went 4.69 and last we tried the small low steady ramp and it went 8.93 metres

     The value of sympathy came to me from my parents, they had taught me how to respect because when I was 7, every time at church, I miss behave.

People(Friends & Teacher) see’s me as a guy who respects rules, equipments and respect other people. I think respect is very important in because if you have no respect for anyone, they you and have no discipline for you. Its also because everyone should be treated how you want to be treated and that's nicely. Such people needs respect as well with sympathy and empathy. Respect is important to everyone and also to me because the people needs respect and to also get along with others.

Spelling test

 This week I have learnt to use a time connective. 

My teacher gave me and my group a paper that we are suppose to put it on a document and add connectives. The words that are the colour red is the words that My group and the words that are green is time connectives. 

Time connectives is words that you can use to begin or end a paragraph.

Room 9 learnt all about the things we learnt Kiwi can. This is my Poster Google draw about Kiwi can and it shows that what activity we do. For term 2 we only had 7 weeks for kiwi can and to spend fun time with them . We enjoyed being with kiwi can because they have taut us a lesson and to be more responsible about our safety and thing.

First of all what is Facebook?

Facebook is a social media website where you can talk to many friends and family around the world. You can make a community group, Pages or you can even play games and post stuff about what you’re doing to the world.

Facebook is a problem because people can get bullied and people put false information about you. Facebook also causes you viruses because you might click on a scam and it could instantly download.

Facebook has lots of scam that people click on that can put a virus on their computer. Facebook is becoming a problem because theres a lot of underage people.

A program that is designed to harm a computer by deleting data, ruining files, and that can be spread secretly from one computer to another

Facebook is problem because people are starting to swear a lot and people will might copy of what they say. Sometimes it distracts you by doing your chores or homework. People when you get in a fight with someone they can contact you down and they know where you live.

There are even hackers that can hack your facebook account and write scams . Sometimes some people just bully their own cousins just to make other people laugh and add them.

People are worrying more about facebook than the world around us.

My Recount at the holiday's by juliano

My Holiday

Over the holidays probably on Wednesday, me and my brother were going to the swimming pools because we wanted to start the best holiday we ever had. We wanted to go to the swimming pools. First we had to pay if we wanted to go swimming,but since I was a 11 year old I was allowed in there for free. It boring there so me and my brother paid for the water slide and got a band. It became way more fun!  

The best part was when I entered the water slide. “Hey I'm going to buy a drink at the vending machine” my brother said. “Wait, can't we just buy fish and chips?” I said. “Why?” My brother said.  “Because if we get fish and chips we can share.”  “Okay then.  You know how I always get mixed up with foods and drinks.”  “Ohh now your making me hungry”  my brother said. “Fine then, don’t need to get angry!”  “I’m gonna go get changed.”

After we finished getting changed we had to walk and walk up the hill.  “Man I'm tired”.  Keep going because we are nearly there anyway. Finally we are there. All we need to do is just to cross the road. We are nearly there. We entered inside the store, and ordered  2 fish and $4.00 chips. “Oh man, I’m  already full!”  Alright lets go to the internet cafe, wait I just need to text dad that we are coming home soon.  “Well hurry up!” I said very in a angry voice. “Just be patient” said my brother. Now we can go, then my brother had to pay $5.00 for 1 hour on the internet cafe.  

When I got home I went to my game and played call of duty black ops 2, and  my brother went on the computer and went on facebook. One hour was finish, “wow one hour goes really fast” my brother said. “Lets walk home now,” my brother said. “I don't want to.” I said,  “We are going to watch Fast 6.” My brother said. “OK.” After we walked, we got the popcorn and watched Fast 6, “wow it was a long day.” said my brother. We go again next holiday.
