My Speech Reflection

Learning Intention:  To write a persuasive speech and present it to the class.

Success Criteria:

• I have organised a persuasive speech
• the message of the speech is clear
• I speak with  a clear voice
• the volume is loud enough
• I make eye contact
• I stand still and relaxed

How well did I do with my speech?

My speech topic was interesting. My speech was all about riding bikes to school.

My voice was a little bit loud.

I stood still and straight.

The hardest part of speeches was to tell the whole paragraph.

I am proud of myself because I had to try my best.

Next time I will have to improve my persuasive speech by learning it off by heart.

• Keep emails friendly and happy (sort out problems face to face)
• Use your camera for learning tasks only
• NO DOWNLOADING MUSIC OR GAMES (your parents will be contacted net book removed)

I learnt that when you download a music or some games then your net book will be slow.

  Facts about milk in school:

• Free milk was given out to children in schools in 1937 - 1967.
• The first Labour government wanted children to be healthy  that’s why they gave out milk.
• Each day milk monitors supplied 284 mls to each child.
• A few years later during the second world war kids also received a apple each day.
• In the 1950s school milk bottles had cardboard lids and a small hole for the straw.
